Haydee Birkhimer, RN, BSN, ACNP, MSN

Haydee Birkhimer was born in Mexico and came to live in El Paso when she was eight years old. Fluent in Spanish, her skills as a bilingual provider prove invaluable in a diverse population such as El Paso. Haydee graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2006. She then went on to work in the critical care unit at Sierra Medical Center through 2010. After completing her clinical rotations at Memorial Hermann in Houston, Haydee received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in December of 2010. Her nursing specialties include critical care, hospice care, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology and gastroenterology. She is especially interested in health promotion and disease intervention. Haydee is happily married to a soldier and the proud mother of a nine-month-old baby girl!
